The warmer weather is often a better motivation for getting into shape, than a promise we make to ourselves on December 31st. Here are some reasons why Spring time can be feel-good time for all.

  • Fresh Food
With all the lovely bright-green fresh local produce starting to show in the shops, it’s a great time to eat a varied diet of brightly coloured fruits and vegetables.  If you go organic you cut out the chemicals that your body has to work harder to eliminate from your system.
  • Getting Outside
No more need for air conditioned gym. Rediscover the feeling of sun on your skin by taking your exercise outside. Now the sun is coming up earlier it’s much more inviting to exercise at the start of the day. Maybe a jog around the park on a fresh spring morning to really refresh the spirits. Exercising in the morning is especially great for boosting sluggish circulation.
  • A good old fashioned Spring clean
Cleanliness is next to Godliness, so they say.  Research also shows that an untidy home or work environment can have adverse health effects. Hoarding and excessive clutter can indicate a number of psychological problems, so what better excuse than to have a good clear-out? You will be amazed at how better you feel afterwards.
  •  You want to look good right?
With the Easter & Bank holidays cropping up, and the thought of a summer break on the horizon, it really is time to get in shape and look forward to the sun, sea, and good health.
