Ishikawa proved a worthy pick for the non-European Internationals as he fought back from two opening losses with foursomes wins on Saturday and Sunday. These two victories, he hoped, would inspire and encourage his team mates.

Arimura fought hard to earn her 10th career victory on the Japanese Tour. She began her final round 3 shots behind the leader but stellar play and birdies on 2, 6, 9, and 12 placed her with a share of the lead. Fellow country woman and the Japan Women's Open Champion posted the same 7-under as Arimura to force a playoff. The two professionals closed the first playoff hole with pars but on the second hole, Arimura sank a 6-foot putt to win the tournament.

Fowler, the 2010 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, shot a final day 3-under 68 at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club to take a six-stroke victory over fellow Trion:Z staffer Rory McIlroy who captured a solo second place finish. His wire-to-wire win was impressive posting a 67, 70, 63, and 68 for a 16-under 268.

The third ranked McIlroy shot a 70, 67, 66 and 65 for a 20-under 268, two strokes behind fellow countryman and the Dunhill Links Champion.
